In 2015 the organization issued booklets for stateless persons in edition of 5,000 copies, as well as leaflets for stateless persons in edition of 5,000 copies with the support of UNHCR. The author is Elena A.Samarskaya.

Those publications were made in addition to the brochure under the title “For Stateless Persons” and contain information about the regulation of the legal status of former citizens of the USSR and their children in the Russian Federation before January 1, 2017: the procedure for admission of stateless persons into Russian citizenship; the procedure and the process of identification; contact information of the FMS of Russia.

The brochures are being distributed free of charge at the reception of applicants by lawyers of IPCO “Faith, Hope, and Love”.

The brochures were published with the support of UNHCR.

That collection makes an opportunity to all interested persons to get acquainted with the information about: the right to apply for Russian citizeship without obtaining a temporary residence permit and a permanent residence permit; where to apply for citizenship and what documents to present; the identification procedure and how it is conducted; identity documents for a stateless person; what actions a stateless person should take if he was recommended by a migration authority to lodge an application to court to establish the fact of his residence within the Russian Federation in order to acquire Russian citizenship later on.

The brochure also contains useful reference information: court practice, answers of the Federal Migration Service, contacts of the FMS of Russia, regulatory enactments.

The brochures are being distributed free of charge at the reception of applicants by lawyers of IPCO “Faith Hope, and Love”, as well as were handed over to partner organizations for distribution.

 

In January, 2015 brochures devoted to activities of IPCO “Faith, Hope, and Love” were published with the support of UNHCR.

That publication contains information about all the periods of the organization’s activity since 1997 including: the history of the organization; the mission, goals and objectives; implemented projects and projects which are being implemented on the territory of the North Caucasus, Moscow and the Moscow Region; arrangements effected for the years of work; publications issued for the population and NGOs; the creation and work of an official Web-site of the organization; the established cooperation with government and municipal structures and human rights organizations.

The brochures are being distributed free of charge at the reception of applicants by lawyers of IPCO “Faith, Hope, and Love”.

A brochure under the title “For Native Speakers of Russian” was published in edition of 2 thousand copies with the financial support of UNHCR in 2014.

The author of the brochure is Elena A. Samarskaya.

That publication covers the latest changes concerning the admission to Russian citizenship under a simplified procedure. Today foreign nationals and stateless persons recognized as native speakers of Russian may acquire Russian citizenship through the simplified procedure.

That brochure was compiled exactly for that category of persons as well as for organizations rendering them assistance, and describes the procedure for recognition a person as a native speaker of Russian and the following procedure for acquisition of Russian citizenship.

The brochures are being distributed free of charge at the reception of people which is conducted by lawyers of FHL, as well as were handed over to partner organizations for distribution.

In October, 2014 a brochure under the title “Your Right” was published in edition of 5,000 copies. The authors are E.Samarskaya, Y.Solodova, N.Shamina. The brochures were published under the project “Raising legal awareness and protecting the rights of the population are a guarantee of stability in the NCFD”. The project is being implemented thanks to government funds allocated as a grant in accordance with RF President Decree of January 17, 2014 No. 11-rp and on the basis of a competition conducted by “Civil Dignity” All-Russian Public Movement.

This collection is developed for a wide audience of readers who faced with socio-economic problems and the necessity of using the law to resolve a particular situation or avoid its negative consequences.

The publication contains the description of ways of resolving everyday issues. Using information presented in the brochure, any interested person can get basic legal knowledge in the sphere of housing and labour law, provision of medical aid and social guarantees, as well as will learn about the portal of government services and how to use it.

The brochures are being distributed by lawyers of IPCO “Faith, Hope, and Love” at the reception free of charge as well as through partner organizations located throughout the territory of the North Caucasus Federal District.

In August, 2014 2 kinds of booklets were published for Ukrainian citizens who were forced to leave the Ukraine. The first booklet covers the following legalization issues: procedure for entry and movement within the Russian Federation; procedure for obtaining a temporary residence permit and/or a permanent residence permit; procedure for registering migrants; procedure for granting refugee status or temporary asylum.

The second booklet describes some social rights: the right to pensions and medical aid, as well as issues of labour activities.

The booklets are being distributed among Ukrainian citizens applying for consultation. The author of the booklets is Y. Solodova.

In 2013 a brochure under the title “For Stateless Persons (Admission to Russian Citizenship in Questions and Answers”) was published in edition of 2,000 copies with the support of UNHCR.

The author of the brochure is E.Samarskaya. The brochure is an addition to a collection which was published in 2012 and covers the basic principles of legalization of stateless persons in the territory of the Russian Federation by granting Russian citizenship and by obtaining a residence permit.

The publication contains additions and changes to information on the admission of stateless persons to the Russian citizenship which are based on changes in the legal acts related to the legalization of stateless persons and entered into force since the beginning of 2013, as well as on the experience and a new practice of the work of IPCO “Faith, Hope, and Love” in the specified direction.

That publication was developed for stateless persons, persons without a legal status as well as for organizations rendering them assistance.

IRPCO “Faith, Hope, and Love” has published the booklets under the title “For stateless persons” published in edition of 4 thousand copies. The author is E.A.Samarskaya.

This publication was made for stateless persons, persons with undetermined legal status as well as for organizations rendering them assistance.

This digest will give all persons concerned an opportunity to acquaint themselves with basic principles of legalization of stateless persons in the territory of the Russian Federation through admission to Russian citizenship as well as by means of obtaining a permanent residence permit; with the procedure for granting social benefits to stateless persons as well as with other useful information gained by IPCO “Faith, Hope, and Love” for many years of its activities.

The booklets also contain useful reference information about identity papers of stateless persons, amounts of collected state duties, and contact data of the FMS of Russia.

The booklets are being distributed free of charge at the reception of clients by lawyers of our organization. They have also been delivered over to UNHCR implementing partners working in other RF regions for the purpose of distributing them in the whole territory of Russia.

In June, 2012 telephone and address handbook "To help people" was published. The number of copies – 30,000. The publication contains the contact information of state and local government agencies, non-profit organizations of the North Caucasus Federal District that help to solve the problems of the population.

 

In July, 2011 a series of booklets for target groups was published thanks to the support of the Small Grants Program of the U.S. Embassy in the Russian Federation. The publications contain important and useful information for forced migrants, refugees, asylum seekers, foreign nationals, and stateless persons.

The booklets are distributed free of charge when counselling migrants at the office of our organization, as well as among lawyers of partner NGOs and practicing advocates at seminars and by sending them out.

In October 3 commemorative booklets were published for target groups.

The commemorative booklet for forced migrants contains the most important information for that category of people:

  • Conditions for the recognition of a person as a forced migrant
  • Procedure for recognizing as a forced migrant
  • Registration as persons standing in need of the improvement of housing condition
  • Settling down of migrants

The commemorative booklet for refugees includes basic information concerning the exercising of rights of that category of people:

  • Procedure for recognizing as a refugee
  • Rights and duties of a person applying for the refugee status and of the members of his family
  • Rights and duties of a refugee and the members of his famil
  • Travel document of a refugee

The commemorative booklet for foreign nationals and stateless persons answers the following questions:

  • What should a foreign national know by entering the Russian Federation?
  • How can a person obtain the residence permit
  • How do children acquire the Russian citizenship
  • How should the people, who have actually been residing within the Russian Federation for a long time, but have no registration at the place of residence, act?
  • What is the procedure for acquiring the Russian citizenship?

The booklet «We are for life» was published thanks to the financial support of the Royal Netherlands Embassy (Matra/KAP Program) in 2008. The number of copies is 4000. The author is E. Polischuk.

The goal of the publication is the prevention of alcoholism, drug addiction, and smoking in the juvenile environment. The booklet reflected a child's view of the problem of socially important diseases and included children's drawings, essays and poetry on the subject of the dissemination of drug addiction, alcoholism, HIV/AIDS and other socially important diseases.

The booklets were distributed among pupils, inmates of children's homes and orphan-asylums of Stavropol region.

The booklet «Drugs and spirits are a step to abyss» was published with the financial support of the Royal Netherlands Embassy (Matra/KAP Program) in 2008. The number of copies is 3000. The author is V. Tsarevskiy.

The goal of the publication is the prevention of alcoholism, drug addiction, and smoking in the juvenile environment. The booklet gives replies to the following questions: “How does the addiction arise?”, “How does it develop?”, “What are the consequences?”, “How can the children resist the addiction?”. Moreover, the booklet contains some extracts from the legislation concerning the responsibility for the use and the spread of drugs, smoking, the use of spirits etc.

The booklets were distributed among pupils, inmates of children's homes and orphan-asylums, education departments of Stavropol region.

The booklet «HIV/AIDS and attendant diseases» was published with the financial support of the Royal Netherlands Embassy (Matra/KAP Program) in 2008. The number of copies is 3000. The author is A. Ponomareva.

The goal of the publication is to inform children and teenagers of infectious diseases, such as HIV, AIDS and hepatitis C. The booklet elucidates the following questions:

  • What are HIV, AIDS and Hepatitis C?
  • How does an individual get the infection?
  • How do the diseases not pass?
  • What are the symptoms of HIV-infection and Hepatitis?
  • Where can a person go through the medical examination?
  • How can the infection be prevented?

The booklets were distributed among pupils, inmates of children's homes and orphan-asylums, education departments of Stavropol region.

The bookmark for pupils with some extracts from laws was published with the financial support of the US Agency for International Development in 2006. The number of copies is 10,000.

The goal of the publication is to inform the maximum number of children about the most important aspects of the legislation elucidating their rights and freedoms. The bookmark contains some extracts from the Russian and international legislation, such as the RF Constitution, the Family Code of the Russian Federation, and the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

The bookmarks were published with 4 different colourful pictures and handed to children’s homes, boarding schools, over 45 schools providing general education of KMV Region and Moscow.

The booklet «We all are different, but equal» was published with the financial support of the US Agency for International Development in 2006. The number of copies is 5000. The author is A. Ponomareva.

The goal of the publication is to scale down intolerance and hostility towards migrants; to form a respectful attitude to human dignity, the rights of other people, tolerance towards other people’s views, faith, culture, language, and national customs; to develop tolerance. The booklet contains some extracts from the legislation concerning the equality of all people and the tolerance.

The booklet «Law is always near» was published with the financial support of the US Agency for International Development in 2006. The number of copies is 5000. The author is I. Bykova.

The goal of the publication is to inform children and teenagers not only about their rights, but also about their duties and the responsibility of minors before the society and the state.

The publication and the distribution of the booklets became an important step in the improvement of legal enlightenment of children and teenagers, in the informing of children of the most important aspects of the legislation. The booklets served as a good manual by studying the legislation concerning the children both for the children and for teachers. This booklet helped to acquaint the children with the legislation and made that process interesting and cognitive.

The manual «Law is in your hands» was published with the financial support of the US Agency for International Development in 2006. The number of copes is 3000. The author is Olga A. Plykina.

The goal of the publication is to grant all interested persons (not having any other opportunity to obtain that information) an access to the legislation on forced migrants. This volumetric publication (326 pages) contains materials worked out by employees of our organization, commentaries to the legislation, examples of procedural documents, judgments entered into force, and replies to questions put the most frequently.

The books were distributed by receiving clients, through Social Welfare Centers of the KMV Region, at seminars of our organization, and among partner NGOs.

The brochure «Migrant has the right» was published with the financial support of the US Agency for International Development in 2006. The number of copes is 1000. The author is Elena Samburova.

The goal of the publication is to inform forced migrants, foreign nationals and stateless persons about the possibility to defend their rights without assistance. The publication contains some extracts from the legislation elucidating the rights and the guarantees of forced migrants bound up with their settling down, their registration at the place of residence and at the place of sojourn, medical aid and job-placing, pensions etc.

The brochures were handed to Social Welfare Centers of the KMV Region, as well as were distributed by lawyers of our organization by receiving clients, at seminars of our organization, and among NGOs rendering assistance to migrants.

The bookmark for pupils with some extracts from laws was published with the financial support of the Royal Netherlands Embassy (Matra/KAP Program) in 2005. The number of copes is 40,000. The author is I. Bykova.

The goal of the bookmark is to inform the maximum number of children about some important aspects of the legislation containing basis norms of the law.

The bookmark contains some extracts from Russian and international legislation, such as the Constitution of the Russian Federation, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the European Convention on Human Rights and other laws and enactments on fundamental rights and duties of an individual in the Russian Federation.

Тhe bookmarks were handed to pupils of schools, to Social Welfare Centers, children’s orphan-asylums, boarding schools, children’s homes of Stavropol Krai, as well as were distributed among children and teenagers visiting a computer class.

The booklet «Children and Law» was published with the financial support of the Royal Netherlands Embassy (Matra/KAP Program) in 2005. The number of copes is 5000. The author is A. Ponomareva.

The goal of the publication is to improve legal enlightenment of children and teenagers, to inform citizens of our country including the youngest ones about legal aspects of the legislation. Children learnt from the booklet “Children and Law”, what rights they are vested by the state and how to uphold them.

The booklets for children were distributed among pupils of schools, inmates of children’s homes and orphan-asylums, were handed to Social Welfare Centers of the KMV Region and Moscow.

The booklet «What should a pensioner know? » was published with the financial support of the Royal Netherlands Embassy (Matra/KAP Program) in 2005. The number of copes is 4000. It was drawn up by Elena Samarskaya in cooperation with the RF Pension Fund Department on Stavropol Krai.

The goal of the publication and the distribution of the booklet is to help people to gain an understanding of the conducted pension reform, to get a notion of the problems which they face, and help them to defend their rights without assistance in case of their violation. The pensioners got to know from the booklet, how to exercise their pension rights. The booklet became interesting for people of pre-pension age since it helped to get acquainted with terms of the granting of pension before the moment of the beginnings of the right to pension.

The booklets were handed to Social Welfare Centers of the KMV Region, to the RF Pension Fund Department on Stavropol Krai, as well as were distributed among pensioners visiting the lawyers of our organization.

The publication is intended for children and teenagers of school age and contains legal information related to that category of people: rights and duties of young people in Russia. This booklet was published for the purpose of raising legal awareness and culture, forming a respectful attitude of teenagers to the law, teaching them to uphold their rights and freedoms.

The booklets for the children were distributed among pupils of schools, inmates of children’s homes and orphan-asylums, were handed to Social Welfare Centers of the KMV Region.

The brochure «Protect your rights!» was published with the financial support of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the South Regional Resource Center in 2001. The number of copes is 1000. The author is Olga A. Plykina.

That publication contains materials on the protection of forced migrants’ rights, which were worked out by employees of SRPCO “Faith, Hope, and Love”, and was intended for forced migrants, organizations solving problems of forced migrants, as well as for the purpose of informational supporting of government structures. The brochure contains examples of applications, complaints, statements of claim, as well as normative documents concerning the rights of forced migrants and refugees. The goal of the publication is the legal enlightenment and training on the appealing against actions and decisions violating the rights and freedoms of people, on the establishment of legally relevant facts, on the protection of one’s own rights without assistance.

The brochure «The first step to job-finding» was published with the financial support of the Canada Fund on Support of Russian Women attached at the Canadian Embassy in the RF in 2001. The number of copes is 1000. The author is Elena A. Polischuk.

The goal of the publication is to render assistance to jobless people in learning to apply the technology of searching a job, which contributed to their real job-placement later on. The publication was intended for migrants and those who work with them, and contains useful advice, rules and methods of searching a job.

The brochures were handed to partner organizations and distributed among migrants, who visited the lawyers of our organization and went through a course under the project “Raising the educational level of women”.
